Many relevant topics were discussed during their visit, such as "Generational change and rules for the same," "Young people in work," "Electric trucks and nuclear power," and "EMS2 truck trains." 🙌
We discussed future solutions within the transport industry, the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and how political cooperation can promote a sustainable future for our industry.
➡ There was a good dialogue about the legislation regarding generational change. What rules should be followed to ensure a smooth transition to the next generation, and how can the legislation be adapted to the necessary changes?
➡ In the business community, we are very keen to get young people into work, but there are many challenges involved. However, it is important to see the even greater opportunities that employing young people in companies offers. We discussed how, from a political perspective, more concrete initiatives can be created to help young people find their place in the labor market. How can we, as a company, secure the workforce of the future, as well as a strong and dynamic workforce?
➡ Future-proofing the transport industry in relation to the green transition. How can we use both technology and energy optimization to promote sustainability? We discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using electric trucks instead of fossil fuel vehicles. In line with this, we also turned the situation around in relation to the new rules regarding new opportunities when using EMS2 trucks. This is one of the new initiatives that we as hauliers can contribute to in relation to optimizing technology and creating more efficient and sustainable operations.

The purpose of the visit was also to discuss how the newly reintroduced valuation of family-owned businesses, as well as how the reduction in inheritance tax rates affects family-owned businesses.
We have become somewhat wiser in several of the "new" areas.
Thank you for visiting 🤝
