At K. Hansen Transport A/S, we have worked intensively for many years to simplify our various booking systems, thereby facilitating both our customers' and our internal workflows.
We have come a long way with this and therefore offer both integrated EDI solutions and a system-independent online booking system.
Electronic booking systems mean that the tedious task of filling out shipping labels for daily shipments is a thing of the past. Now, you can use our booking systems to register the necessary information, on the basis of which we automatically allocate the goods and print shipping labels.
We primarily work with two types of booking systems
1. EDI solution: An integrated EDI solution is established, whereby freight data is transferred electronically.
2. Online booking: You register freight data via an online connection, after which your booking is sent to us.

An EDI solution means electronic data interchange in a professional format. EDI allows you, as a customer, to transfer data directly from your order system to our booking system.
This provides us with all the necessary information we need to ensure correct delivery and subsequent settlement of the transport service.

Online booking is a very simple booking method where you are assigned a username and login, after which you can enter your shipping data and transfer it to us electronically. We then use your shipping data for route planning and print the shipping labels here in-house.
You can print address labels and packing lists, as well as build an address database of your recipients/customers. Online booking takes place via the internet and is therefore independent of any software installation or setup on your part as a customer.

EDI or online booking also ensures that the same information is available to both our customer and us. This saves time and reduces work at all stages – both for our customer and for us – and ensures simple follow-up and tracking of goods.
