With more than 125 years of experience, K. Hansen Transport A/S is a family-run business with a tradition of diligence, commitment, and treating goods as if they were the company's own. This means that an agreement is an agreement, and that an agreed delivery time is something you set your clock by.
A lot has happened both in terms of the street scene and trucks since K. Hansen Transport A/S was founded back in 1896. Back then, horsepower was scarce and four-legged. It is a long way to the state-of-the-art trucks that are now on the roads with goods both day and night.

The people behind the transport
At K. Hansen Transport A/S, you will be greeted by loyal employees who understand the importance of good service. The seniority among employees is unusually high, which testifies to a stable framework and a culture where professionalism and responsibility are prioritized.
The company was named ITD Company of the Year in 2010 and has previously come close to winning the titles of Transport Company of the Year and Workplace of the Year.
In addition, our students have achieved impressive rankings in both national and international competitions. We are proud of this, as it demonstrates our investment in both people and the future.
The story continues
Although we have more than a century behind us, we are constantly looking ahead. Transport needs change, and so do the solutions. We evolve in line with our customers' needs – but without letting go of the foundation on which the company is built.

That was the starting point in 1896.
It still is today.
From horsepower to trucks
When great-grandfather Peder Hansen took over the then small company, its most significant assets were:
"7 work wagons, 4 flat wagons, 3 charabancs, 1 jumbe, 1 landau, 5 horses, and harnesses."
It was Karsten Hansen's father, Kristian Hansen, who first believed that the future lay in trucks, and in 1928 a used Chevrolet was purchased for the formidable sum of 1,100 kroner.
Since then, development has progressed rapidly.
Today, the fleet consists of 65 trucks, most of which are less than four years old. The development from horse-drawn carriages to modern equipment has made it possible to perform tasks on a completely different scale – and with the flexibility that today's companies expect.
What began with work wagons and horses has now become a professional transport and logistics company offering a wide range of services.
Today, we offer, among other things:
- Distribution – planned and efficient freight transport
- Carrier truck – flexible unloading in locations with limited access
- Warehouse hotel – secure storage and handling of goods
- Special transport – when the goods require something special
- Courier service – direct and fast deliveries
