At K. Hansen Transport A/S, we offer two different training programs for our trainee drivers.

Freight driver trainees aged 16-17
Start in January or August
We are looking for two trainees to start every six months (January and August). As a trainee driver, you will learn the basic tasks at our terminal. You will therefore receive training and education in the morning flow, where our drivers' day starts, at the terminal.
Modules 1 to 2: Training in terminal flow
This course is structured in modules. The first four modules are at the terminal (Modules 1.1 – 1.2 – 2.1 – 2.2) and take approximately six months per module to complete, depending on how quickly you learn.
The final module is module 3, where you transition to driving.
Module 3: Training in driving with a mentor
In the third module, you will be assigned 1-2 mentors who will be responsible for your training. You will be taught everything from driving a van to driving a truck and trailer.

1-year contract
We draw up our student contracts as mutual 1-year contracts, with a view to extending the contract after the first year until the end date of the training program.
Follow-up with a view to learning and well-being:
We conduct follow-ups after 1 and 3 months with the department manager and HR.
Good driver trainee + 18 years old
Start-up – flexible throughout the year
If you are 18 years of age or older, your training program as a driver apprentice will be as follows:
You will receive an education plan from EUC Lillebælt, which will be approved by us.
You will alternate between attending school and working with us. During the periods when you are with us, you will receive training in the things you need to learn as a trainee driver.
Mentor training
You will be assigned one or more mentors (drivers) who will be responsible for your training throughout your training period.
Once you have obtained your VUB (commercial vehicle license), you will be trained to drive a commercial vehicle.
Once you have obtained your C driver's license (tractor unit), you will be trained to drive tractor units, and this is how it works throughout your training.
