Track & Trace

K. Hansen Transport offers a Track & Trace solution allowing our customers to track their consignments online at freight letter level through our web-booking and later via our website.

The consignments are scanned throughout the transport flow from pick-up at our customer’s location until arrival at our terminal, reloading to distribution van and until delivery to receiver. This allows our customers to track their consignments to see how far they are on their way to receiver and a number of other details about the transport.

Scanners update currently and details about transports are accessible immediately after scanning.

Upon delivery, the receiver signs for receipt on the scanner so that an ePOD can be displayed via the web-booking. In cases where our customers allow us to deliver without receipt, a picture is taken of the consignment as documentation for the consignment’s physical presence at the address. This is a preferred solution in connection with delivery to construction sites, private receivers, etc. See examples on the photo to the right.
